Hello again from the Giraffe class. Our theme this month will be "Love One Another". We will be focusing on the colors pink and white. Our shape this month will be the heart. We will be talking about love, kindness, friendship, and making good choices.

Our Valentine's Day Celebration will be on February 13th and 14th and we will be having a Teddy Bear Tea Party. If you signed up to send in any "beary" fun treats for the party, the sign up sheet will be attached to this calendar. Also, please send your child to school with a Teddy Bear on these days. Please make sure you label the bear with your child's name. You may also send in Valentines to be given to each child. You do not need to put any of the children's names on them. You need only to put who the card is from. We have 14 friends in the Giraffe class. Please include your own child when sending in the Valentines. (This means your child will also be receiving a Valentine from him/herself.) The Valentines need to be sent in by Friday, February 10th.

On February 23rd, Jonathan the Juggler will be coming to visit at 11:15 in the Fellowship Hall upstairs. The children (and adults) really enjoy his performance. If your child is not scheduled to come to school on the day of the performance, you are welcome to bring your child to the program; however, you will need to stay with your child. We would love for you to come! It is always a lot of fun!
